DAACI recently joined the panel ‘AI in the Music Industry’ – with Sophie Jones (BPI), Tom Kiehl (UK Music), Rachel Lyske (DAACI) & John Mottram (PRS)

DAACI has today released a white paper demonstrating that they have an ethical, legal framework for creating generative original music, that embeds copyright, consent and attribution for artists at its core. The white paper, an output of DAACI’s Innovate UK funded grant research portfolio, is a timely response to the recent government copyright and AI consultation and subsequent demands from the music industry.

The InnovateUK AI in the Music Industry project that DAACI have been leading on with academic partner University of the Arts London (UAL) is now entering its final stages. The final in person workshop was held at UAL’s Nerve Lab at the High Holborn Campus last week.
