The event provided attendees with a unique opportunity to discuss DAACI’s history, and explored the evolution of our journey from Joe’s early career as a composer to his PhD, and on to the tech available from DAACI today.
Dr Joe demystified some of the questions surrounding AI and explained the background of current terminology.
He also answered questions about DAACI’s approach to creating music and AI solutions and explored the future of the music industry, with a focus on AI’s impact.

Students had the opportunity to explore the exciting world of DAACI and gain insights into DAACI’s future products and also received an exclusive demo from DAACI producer, Ed Harley.
Ed delved into some of our cutting-edge products, showcasing the true power of AI in music tools.
As one of the masterminds behind the development of DAACI’s Natural Drums, currently in the open beta stage and accessible through our Open Beta Community, Ed was the perfect guide alongside Dr. Joe.
Together, they opened doors for aspiring musicians, innovators, and creators, revealing the potential of AI both now and in the near future.
